Mt. Lookout (Cincinnati, Ohio)

The Frederick H. Alms Memorial Park is located on Mt. Tusculum, and its centerpiece is a pavilion in the Italian Renaissance style. Architects Stanley Matthews and Charles Wilkins Short, Jr. completed the building in 1929. Adding to the structure's elegant appearance is immaculate landscaping designed by A. D. Taylor. From its heights one can see the juncture of the Little Miami River as well as the gigantic bend of the Ohio. This overlook makes for spectacular pictures, and the pavilion’s stately presence, paired with the alluring and intimate surroundings, make it perfect for any kind of celebration.
If you have a wedding ceremony at the park, the covered pergola is available at no extra charge. It overlooks the river and is a picturesque location for an exchange of vows. You can also have your ceremony under the pavilion’s covered second-floor patio. The pavilion itself has two patio spaces that flank the covered pergola. With the covered and uncovered patios, there is room for 120 guests. Modern amenities such as a built-in bar and private restrooms make the space extremely accessible. The pavilion also has a catering kitchen attached. Finally, guests will not have to worry about parking as the park has ample space for guests.
