Downtown (Cincinnati, Ohio)

The National Underground Railroad Freedom Center has been a home for inclusive freedom and national conscience since its opening in 2004. Located steps from the banks of the Ohio River, its position serves not only as a central location with stunning views and surroundings, but as a site with historical significance. Whether booking for a wedding, corporate, or personal celebration, the space at the Freedom Center will offer a setting rich in culture and aesthetic appeal.
No matter the size of your event, the Freedom Center has several spaces that will accommodate your needs. For larger, more extravagant celebrations, there is the option to rent the entire museum for your exclusive access. This includes access to all exhibits and the use of all public and private event spaces. The grand entrance plaza is also available, and is a fantastic location for pictures.
If you have a large guest list but don’t want access to the entire museum, the Grand Hall and Terrace is a fantastic option. The Grand Hall stuns with Italian Stone walls, a winding marble staircase, hardwood floors, and floor-to-ceiling windows. The space can accommodate 400 guests. Also available for rent is the Third Floor and Eternal Flame Balcony. This space includes access to the attached terrace. Guests can enjoy stunning views of the Ohio River and Roebling Suspension Bridge. The third floor has room for 300 standing or 125 seated.
The Harriet Tubman Theater is an excellent space for lectures, panels, or corporate events. State-of-the-art audiovisual equipment and a hardwood stage make it perfect for any event. The theater has a seating capacity of 300. Finally, the two Discovery rooms are ideal for breakout sessions or smaller corporate events. One has room for 80 and the other can fit 30.
