Krohn Conservatory

Eden Park’s Krohn Conservatory is architecturally significant and stunning. Completed in 1933 at the height of the Art Deco era, the greenhouse embodies the sleek and elegant style of that architectural movement. Today the impressive glass structure has become a nationally-recognized destination. Inside, more than 3,500 lush, green plants and colorful florals pop under the high, gothic glass ceilings. Soothing waterfalls and tantalizing scents transport visitors to exotic wonderlands with surprises around every corner. The conservatory's engaging space is ideal for small to mid-sized weddings and events.

If you are planning a wedding, the Conservatory offers both ceremony and reception space. Dazzle guests as you get married among the plants in the atrium, or in front of the impressive front entrance. There are also multiple areas perfect for a reception, party, or special event. These include a room off the atrium, the front lobby, or in the tent connected to the conservatory. The tent is a larger space with room for 150 guests.

At 5 pm the Conservatory closes to the public, giving guests full access to the conservatory. Depending on the time of year, guests can wander throughout specialty exhibits. These include shows such as the Orchid exhibit or beloved butterfly show. They can also take advantage of the permanent exhibits such as the rainforest waterfall and Palm, Tropical, and Desert houses. And of course, scenic picture opportunities abound inside the conservatory. Gorgeous plant displays, waterfalls and manicured grounds will be the perfect background for those memories.
