Mt. Lookout (Cincinnati, Ohio)
Because of its stunning presence, the Ault Park Pavilion, built in 1930 in the Italian Renaissance Style, is a frequent home for parties, dances, and weddings. The front of the Pavilion features a cascading backlit water fountain. Surrounding the fountain is a wide double flight of steps. Climb the steps to the Pavilion’s lookout point and suddenly you have a 360° view of the park. From there you can see sprawling vistas and the broad valley where the Little Miami River flows through the Ohio landscape. These gorgeous views make Ault Park one of the most picturesque ceremony sites in the city. The enchanting views, pictures, and sunsets will make for a memorable outdoor ceremony and reception and will usher you into wedded bliss.
The Pavilion itself is a two-story structure with indoor coves that flank each side. The second-story reception space is split into three sections, with the middle portion covered. Tents can be rented so that the sides are covered as well. Both of the first-floor coves come equipped with heating and air conditioning capabilities. The indoor wings house the built-in bar with room for anything else that needs shelter from the elements. There are also private bathrooms located in the wings for guests. Guests and vendors won’t have to worry about parking, with parking spaces surrounding the Pavillion. When you rent the Pavilion, an array of equipment rental options are available to you, and a dedicated wedding planner will assist in the organization of your day.
